    well the biggest perk is being able to use the phone as a 4g hotspot without paying the extra coin to vzw ;) you can also tweak the OS, use custom roms, take screen shots, control the cpu speed, increase battery life, etc....

    All paid apps transfer with your Google account and recently now that its the new play market it keeps log of all previously downloaded apps it too me about 3 minutes on 4G to download all my apps and my music I had on the Amazon cloud
