FS: Humminbird Helix 7 DI GPS Sonar Fishfinder *SOLD*

Hello all!

As you know fishing season is upon us! I am offering for sale a pre owned Humminbird Helix 7 fish finder.

I bought this unit pre owned last year so I'm the second owner. I used it maybe 6 times last summer in freshwater mounted to my kayak. It was well cared for in my possession. I transported it in a fitted Pelican case (not included) and it was never splashed or submerged.

It has traditional sonar, down imaging and GPS. It is NOT a CHIRP unit or a Side Imaging unit. I'm including an 8Gb micro SD card with a detailed map of my local fishing spot, Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park here in southwestern PA. The unit does include a basic map of most bodies of water in the US but they will not be detailed with depth contour. I purchased a detailed map of Lake Arthur since I fish there often.

The reason for sale is that I upgraded to a side imaging unit. I wanted to be able to scan more water more efficiently since I'm paddling a kayak, not driving a motor boat! I'm still a newb at sonar interpretation but I think this is a powerful tool that can help locate fish and structure if a bit of time is spent to learn its language.

This is a great introductory unit. It's a bit bigger than the Helix 5 making it easier to read but the price is very reasonable compared to some of the bigger screens.

This is the map of Lake Arthur. I bought this map through Humminbird's Chart Select program, it was not included from the factory.



The screen is in great shape!



The included accessories. The gimbal mount, power cord, and transducer mount are brand new and unused. These parts are from the new unit I bought, which was also a Helix 7. I'm reusing the old stuff that's already on my kayak so I don't need these parts.



The transducer has some scratches on it. I received it this way so they were from the previous owner. It still works just fine.

Can you post a picture of the back of unit. Looking to see if it has the Ethernet port. (I bought a helix 5 for front of boat and it didn’t have one.)

 

This unit has no ethernet port. I think the ethernet one was the G2N model.
