Sold my truck so this is the first in a number of for sale items...

This DNN991HD is a few months old. it has a lifetime traffic subscription that i already paid for, as well as navteq traffic.

Im including the ipod wire and the HDMI wire for screen mirroring ect (both normally extra).

includes its box, and remote which is still in wrapping. includes everything it comes with new; Microphone, GPS antenna, Push to talk, wifi dongle wire, wifi antenna, ect

I will include the 2012+ tacoma dash kit. which has flyzeyes console lighting attached to it. Also including wireless steering wheel controls. This piece attached nicely to the side of the wheel where the air bag bolt cover trim piece is.

this unit can pull data down from your smart phone, via wireless hotspot, OR you can attach a wireless cellular USB to its wifi wire and it can serve as a hotspot for your car...

this unit is fast and smooth, has a touch screen that is similar to that of an ipad, Capacitive. not resistance type. it dims down super dim at night and can be very bright during the day.

i have the dash kit for tacoma but not the mounting brackets, so you will likely need to purchase a full dash kit. since i dont have the brackets anymore (long story )

 

another idea....

if someone is looking to upgrade their audio system, but this is too pricy for you... i have shane building me a an ipad mini kit. i already paid for it in full. so im literally choking on it. the kit is everything, wiring harness, shipping, headunit, everything you need. the kit is not yet done being custom made. and i will say that it is different than all the other kits being made because of an important functionality / use optimization feature hes custom crafting into it for me. if the kenwood is too salty, then PM me about my mini kit. i will sell it for a lot less than my Kenwood and a lot less than what i paid for it.

 

Can you completely turn off the screen or it just dims? The old Pioneer I had you could, and the Kenwood I have on my daily you can't. I want to add one to my Tacoma but want one with the function to turn off the screen without turning off the entire radio.

 

im very sensitive to anything being too bright at night. this screen dims WAY down, if you turn on the headlights during the day its pretty much unreadable, its that dim. you can override it if you need the headlights on during the day. this screen dims dimmer than your usual "resistance" type touch screen because this one is capacitive (like an ipad).

if you select a video input that does not have a source you can make the screen just be plain black.
