For sale are front and rear King adjustable shocks for an 05+ tacoma, NOT extended travel. I had these on the truck for less than one year and have 6,000 miles on them. The springs are 700lb. I am in the process of returning my truck to stock to sell for a bigger rig due to a growing family. They have not seen any trails (unfortunately) just a few dirt roads. They are a little dirty from being in a Montana winter season but otherwise in excellent condition. I’m sure they’ll polish up nicely for anyone after that look. Retail new is $3,000 plus shipping. I’d like $2400 shipped continental US.

Here is the specific item #’s:

25001-119A King 2.5 Front Remote Reservoir Coilovers with Adjuster for 05+ Tacoma.

25001-121A King 2.5 Rear Remote Reservoir Shocks with Adjuster for 05+ Tacoma.

Also comes with standard front shocks pre-load adjustment tool and “T” adjustment tool for easier access.

How do those springs compare to factory? 700lb too much for otherwise stock vehicle? No added weight

700lb is too much for a stock vehicle. You wouldn’t get much movement. It’d be too stiff. If you have an aftermarket bumper or winch it’d get you there.

You could always get 600 or 650 springs from King and swap them out then sell the 700’s.

What else is needed for an install? UCA’s? How much lift if any will this suspension give? Sorry, I’ve never messed with suspension on any vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Adjustable UCA’s such as SPC/Light Racing are recommended (that’s what I used). Many go with Total Chaos UCA’s. The front shocks are adjustable in preload to change the amount of lift. I left it at the factory setting which gave it around 2 inches I believe. I added a leaf in the rear leaf springs to even it out front to back.

That reminds me, I have the standard adjustment tool and “T” adjustment tool for the front shocks pre-load. They both are included. I will add their photo when I get home later today.

Also, don’t be intimidated by doing your own suspension on these rigs. I never did it before this vehicle and after doing it I kicked myself for not doing my own on past vehicles. This site and others are an amazing resource for step by step mods.

Sorry buddy, I’m selling my truck altogether before long. Put the stock suspension back on.
