I'm just glad to have you guys aboard! This is my first time doing any type of "vending" so, like I mentioned, I just want to be sure I've covered all areas on yours and my side before I send these out. I really can't wait to get these to you guys, I know you're all gonna be real happy with them and the take my money comments have been hilarious. :D

I should be able to send out the first batch of 10 by this friday if my last reel of LED's comes in. You first 10 will sort of be "guinea pigs" and IF there are any bugs we can work them out before I start sending out more.
I haven't taken anyone's money yet and don't plan to until your name and addresses are on a piece of parcel with a kit inside :thumbsup"
I know what you guys mean about the fall-through vendors having been a victim myself. I don't plan on becoming one and I will do whatever it takes to make each person happy with their kit if it means sending them a brand new one, or just sending back their money. You have my word, said right here.
    Happy New Year fellas!

Sounds good bro. Enjoy your new year. Put this project aside and have some drinks. Can't wait to wire this up to the truck

    Update:
I am probably going to be remaking that video and adding a few changes to the kit.
Thanks to some advice from Shane (MACH375), the brains behind this whole thing, I am going to make this kit even simpler and take out the wire crimping process (minus the spade connector that goes to the switch), throw in a better fuse that uses the same ones in our trucks, possibly no drilling, do some heat shrink for ya, and a few other small changes that will make this even easier and more reliable for you guys.
Don't count on a price change but if for some reason there is, you're all grandfathered in to the original pricing. I don't want to change it though, I like that number.

Yay another video, more russian or... hehe :p

I am very interested in this.. sign me up after you revise your setup as described above and redo your video.

    I have a question..

The lights come on automatically when the hood pops open..

What if I am working during the day and I have sufficient lighting?

Would I have the option to override the switch and turn them off if needed?

    Hey all...cameraman here

I have the second set of these lights installed by Brad. Mine are also wired to a switch inside the cab, so I can choose to turn them on or off when working during the day.

Thanks for supporting Brad with this project. He is my best friend, and I can't tell you how many hours he's put into R&D with these kits. When we were installing them on our own trucks months ago, we joked around about offering them on TW and now it seems people really like them! :D

I'm showing off the rock lights below as well.

    Did you install it?

I am looking for a toggle switch that is OEM for this location.

I would like to get this when funds allow, and $35 seems more than reasonable for a mostly plug and play. I would like lights for under the bed rails also, if you can manage a switched kit for that at some point? Have a great New Year!

I'm juggling a lot so if y'all wouldn't mind adding yourselves to the list on the previous page it would save me a few minutes since I'm on my phone.
The first ten are the first ten on the list with priority going to the 3 or 4 who PMed me much earlier. You'll know :)

This switch does not allow you to be able to turn it off manually if say you are working during the day. The thing is that the power draw is really, really damn low...you can pretty much leave it on for days if not months before you'd have to worry about it.

The switch I had in my previous setup failed often and my lights would be on at night. I was usually too lazy to play with it and left it on for a few days before it turned itself off.

You can make a toggle switch if ya like to! All about your preference. :)

More to come, will keep you guys updated as things come, also once I start to send out the kits I will be making a new thread as this one's title is misleading.

$35 shipped is MORE than reasonable man. I talked to our engineering manager about making some cornhole boards hole lights for me and even with our suppliers he couldnt get it cheaper than I could find on ebay. I know how much the rolls of LEDs are at cost, and I can tell you that a plug and play kit that he is offering is a phenomenal price.
