Will only work in 09+ access cab trucks!
I have a factory subwoofer out of an 2009 Tacoma Access Cab. It works perfectly, not blown. I removed it and upgraded with a bigger sub. I will include the mounting bolts and lower bracket needed to mount it, but no wire harness is included. I'm not sure if all our trucks come prewired or not. It does have a couple marks on it, but strictly cosmetic, nothing serious, I just want to be honest.

Please pm me if interested or if you have any questions. I take paypal.

MAKE an OFFER pleaseshipped in the US or pickups welcome in Worcester, MA

    Thanks,
    Mike

Anyone know how hard this would be to wire up in an 07 SR5?

It's not powered all it uses is the rear speakers output. So if u have a pre 09 just tap into the door speakers and you have the power for the sub.

Are you sure, it definitely has more than just a speaker/sub in it, there's a metal box in it where the wiring goes in and an on/off switch too, I'm pretty sure it's powered

It's not if you fade your speakers to the front the sub won't work and there are no rcas to go into fact amp. It's not jbl and its not powered by nothing but the power from the radio. In my 11,I ripped it out and used those wires to wire up my rear speakers in rear doors because tjey didn't come with rest speakers.

It may use the rear speaker wires for input, but it's definitely got it's own power source in the sub, I can take a picture if anyone wants to see it. Also if you look at the wire harness going into it it's got a power and ground wire too.

As far as putting it in an 06, you probably just have to cut out the holes where it mounts. the top mount is part of the metal beam on the truck and I have the lower mount with it included.

I also just discovered this will mount in 2009+ trucks only, unless someone with an 05-08 truck replaces the whole back panel.

Yeah because of the space between the two seats in the 09+
