I have no idea if there is even a market for this kind of thing but I'll post it here. This came out of my 1999 double cab, and it is an extremely tight fit that will require two people to install, and removal of the rear plastic.

For sale is a short-dual-ported subwoofer cabinet made of 3/4" MDF internally matrix-braced for maximum clarity and low distortion. Supports a 15" sub.

Two independently driven L & R woofer/tweeter pair cabinets are recessed and sealed within the sub enclosure with a 2nd order Linkwitz-Riley filter on each side. Tweeter recessed relative to woofer for phase matching.

I'm willing to sell the enclosure by itself or with speakers & crossovers included, but I would recommend your own woofer/tweeter pair, as the tweeters are not well matched to the woofers I used. Since they're sealed you can simply cover the openings if you chose not to use them.

Sub is a 500W 15" Dayton. I can dig up the model # if someone is interested, but the enclosure was designed specifically to be optimized with its T-S parameters. I can dig that file up as well if anyone is interested, as it demonstrates the theoretical response. Fs goal was 15Hz.

Taking out because I want my cab space back after all this time. I'm in Mesa, AZ. Suggested price for the Sub/Cabinet combo is $400. Cabinet alone, $300.Comes with the top rack attached (pictured) for storage. Otherwise, it will sit in my garage until I think of a new use for it.

    Thanks for looking.

That thing is a beast!!! I'm curious, does the wire mesh on the outside serve some purpose?

Just as some added protection, and keeps the fabric together since the glue didn't want to hold very well at the time

That pretty cool but isn't it in a extended cab? I thought a dubble cab had 4 doors.
