    SOLD SOLD SOLD

    For Sale:
    • Transmission Skidplate
    • Transfer Case Skidplate
    • Rear steel crossmember for transfer case skidplate
    • Optional: Front Skidplate for full set
All skidplates are made out of 1/4" aluminum with extra reinforcing ribs from the factory. This set retails new for $700 plus about $100 in shipping, and they generally have a loooong backorder.

These are in great shape and include mounting hardware. There's a little dirt on the plates, but they are straight and true with no dents or major scuffs or scars.

The transfer case skidplate is configured for those with a T-case exhaust re-route for maximum clearance. If you have the stock exhaust, your local muffler shop can do a quick and inexpensive re-route. These skidplates also require that you already have a front Mobtown skidplate to mount to; I am willing to consider selling my front Mobtown skid if you don't have one.

I'm asking $500 OBO for the two rear skidplates and crossmember. If you need the front skidplate, that's an extra $450 for a total of $950.

I'm located near zipcode 87401 (northwest New Mexico). I am willing to ship the skidplates at your cost, or we can talk about pickup/delivery if you're nearby.

Price drop! Make me an offer, folks. That's what "OBO" means.

I think lack of Mobtown front skid is scaring people off.

How much would you ask for the Mobtown engine skid? PM if you'd rather

The front skid also has extra reinforcement ribs and an oil filter access hatch. I would ask an extra $450 for the front skid, for a total of $950 plus shipping. These three plates new would cost about $1175 (plus shipping) with a fabrication lead time of a couple months.

Also, Mobtown recently changed their reinforcement rib design to be IMHO less effective but quicker and easier to weld. Their old skidplates (like mine) will be stronger. I think this is the strongest aluminum skidplate set that any company has made for the Tacoma.
