FS Motorcycle Bed Rack

Getting rid of this little motorcycle bed rack I made a while ago because I am installing real long travel and it is interfering with my shock hoops. It mounts using 4 bolts through the front of the bed. No more tying down bikes to the bed rails, plus you have 3 wheel chocks to secure the front tire.

Do you have issues with bars hitting? With full size bikes?

 

With two 450's they are close, but I've done that plenty of times without issue. Just got to lean them out a touch. Can't put 3 in all at once. I just built it so you can run one in the middle or one or two on either side.

 

Huh... Might have to build myself something like that for my road bike, looks like it would work well for gas cylinders too without being obtrusive meaning I could leave it in the bed long term. Transporting my welding bottles right now is always a nerve wracking pain making sure they are all secure.

I have one like this, it makes strapping dirt bikes down way easier. I've run three bikes with mine Two forward on the sides and one backwards up the middle.

 

Yep I never ran 3 but built this one and frequently ran two. Just won't work with the bed cage anymore so it's gotta go.

 

Used to do that as well, and it works like a charm. Getting it up the ramp backwards is always fun though.

 

Same here, I'm making my cage so I'm gunna weld up something for the bike onto it.
