Anyone have one of these in MA or close by I could take a look at or test fit my bikes? I feel like I typically have the front tires of the two dirtbikes where the handles (attachment points) are. In your picture you have the front wheels closer to the sides of the bed (a bit to close from my experience) but if people like these they seem like a better option than adding D-rings to the front (which I did on my previous Tacoma) because the tie downs have to reach all the way across the truck bed and the front wheel of the other bike is usually in the way and makes things difficult.

The inherent difficulty with any compact / midsize truck is bed width; Putting two full size bikes in the bed is going to require a certain distance due to the handlebars.
You can see in the pictures in this link, the method I use to keep the bikes from moving ---- tie the bars together..... the bikes will not move at all.

Good man! I need this....I'm a weekend warrior. I usually only have my CRF450 but I sometimes take my CRF250 to the track as well. As far as proving that I'm DoD, I can always send you a picture of my CAC with personal info covered up. Or I can send you an email from my @jsf.mil email.

Just received mine yesterday! Installed it last night drunk and it still only took 15-20 minutes (don't worry I double checked the install this morning haha). Fit was perfect and instructions were spot on.

Only thing that was less than ideal is that three of the bolts in the bed rail are behind tie down bars so my torque wrench couldn't get them, so I had to guess. But this is obviously a limitation of the bed bolt locations so what are you gonna do, no big deal.

This bar is incredibly solid and well made. I have no doubt it'll hold any motorcycle I might wanna put back there. And I now have some very solid general tie downs up front which was really lacking from the taco.

well then, I was just getting ready to make my own like this and saw the thread. I also haul kayaks for fishing and am interested in the front overhead rack/headache bar you talked about. Let me be the first prototype for you. I can tell you my needs to make this work if you want to look into it.

I installed mine over the weekend. Super easy install!!! Tied one bike down and worked great. I'll post again once I've had a chance to try it with two bikes in the bed.

    Thanks!!!

I got mine in the mail...discount was applied...packaged very well.

Install was very straight forward and the included instructions were spot on. As I was installing it I was thinking it would only be a 30min job total. UNTIL, I got to the second insert for the corner brackets. The screwdriver wasn't working. So, to maybe help others out I found that using a longer bolt to screw in one hole I could then use it as a handle to line it all up and pull the insert close enough to make the second bolt go in easier.

    Looks good and is STOUT.

Will the larger width of street bike tires fit in the chocks? Or do all of your customers just haul dirt bikes?
