    SOLD LOCALLY

1990 NA Mazda Miata, 1.6L I4 DOHC, 5 Speed Manual, 113,500 miles original, B-Package (aka top of the line), passed MD State Inspection and registered as Historic

    B-Package:
    - Power Windows – Still works
    - Cruise Control – Still works
    - Head Rest Speakers – Still works
    - Power Steering – Still works
    - Alloy Wheels – Replaced with Kosei K1s bought used with no damage but painted gold -15x7 Kosei K1 with Falken Zeix 512 195/50-R16
    - Leather Steering Wheel
    - 25/30 MPG – I get 29.5 over the last 5,000 miles of commuting on mostly city roads

    The Good:
    - The car runs great, original motor, recently changed the timing belt and clutch, so it is set to go to 200k+ miles. Labor and parts to change the timing belt and clutch would cost $2500+
    - All the engine seals have just been changed, there are no leaks, and it runs very strong.
    - Running Mobile One Synthetic Oil in the Trans for a very smooth ride.
    - I have paperwork for the alignment, and purchased parts, more than $5500 invested in the car and upgrade parts.
    - The seats are still supportive and have minimal fading
    - The dreaded 65 shimmy that Miatas have; because of the new bushings, wheels, tires and eccentric bolts, this Miata does not have the shimmy, solid all the way to ~80 (that is as fast as I have gone, it will do 115+)
    - I will give you all the spare parts that I have for it too, not much but some spare bolts etc., a Haynes Manual and other documents.

More Standard Information So at 111550 miles it got:
    - New Mazda Factory Clutch & Bearing
    - Machined Flywheel & Bearing
    - New Mobile One Synthetic Trans Oil
    - New Reverse Light Sensor
    - New Rear Main Seal
    - New KYB Struts and Bump Stops all around & Alignment
    - New Front Main Seal
    - New Koyo Radiator & Fluids
    - New Mazda Radiator Hoses & Clamps
    - New Gates Water Pump
    - New Camshaft Position Sensor Seal
    - New Camshaft Front Seals

    - New Gates Timing Belt, Tensioner & Idler
    - New Gates Alternator Belt
    - New Gates Power Steering Belt
    - New Mazda Crankshaft Bolt & Key
    - New Steering Wheel Cover

At ~109000 if got the following:
    - New Wheels 15x7 Kosei K1
    - New Tires Falken Zeix 512 195/50-R16
    - New Lug Nuts from Summit Racting

At ~104000 it got the following:

    - New Engine Oil, Radiator and Trans Fluids
    - New Soft Top and Rain Rail
    - New NGK Spark Plug Wires
    - New Head Lights
    - New PCV Valve
    - New Thermostat
    - New Wheel Bearing (Front Pass)
    - New Moog Tie Rod Ends
    - New Moog Lower Ball Joints
    - New Energy Suspension Bushings (entire kit - 11.18102 including Rear Diff Bushing Install – provides a much stiffer and controllable ride, and better torque transfer to the rear wheels)
    - New Mazda Eccentric Bolts (all 8)
    - Some New Fuses
    - New Battery, Hoses and Clamps
    - New Mazda Fuel Filter
    - New Air Filter
    - New Sony iPod Radio
    - New Shift Knob (Still have the Factory Knob)
    - New Shift Outer Fabric Boot (home made)
    - New Pedal Covers

    The not so great:
    - The paint is wearing as expected for a 1990
    - The gauge cluster is loose, some of the tabs are broken off
    - There are two holes in the driver door for an extra rear view mirror, I didn’t put them there nor do I have the mirror
    - The interior lights don’t work – I think the bulbs are burnt out, they used to work

    Why I am Selling:
My wife and I bought this to rebuild, commute in and get better at driving manual. We just had our first child and I need a 4 door car that can carry a kid around. See my build thread for more info, pictures.

I am looking for $4200 OBO, in Leonardtown, MD 20650 – CASH ONLY, title in hand.

I may consider partial trades for a 4 door manual car.

Feel free to ask questions or let me know if you want more pictures.
