Can the lettering be taking off to pain and match the truck if possible?

The lettering is cut into the front plate and is bolted to the main grill.

I think there is a picture of the back of the grille somewhere (I can't find it now), I don't remember seeing any bolts your talking about (?.) Does anyone has a picture of the back grille and someone that has painted the lettering as well?

There's bolts behind above your grill that came already with nuts fastened. Straight line in the Middle East to west

Thanks man! it gaves me a better idea of the grille. From the front it looks that is all one piece. Happy that you can take it apart and change the color of the Tacoma lettering:thumbsup:

Just as an update I received my spacers from Matt this week and installed them and my TSS light has extinguished. Since then I have put about 100 miles on my truck and the light hasn't come back on. Thanks @Matt123 for troubleshooting this effectively and getting this fix out so quickly!

It is truly awesome to be part of the Tacoma family and see that the world can still be a positive and rewarding place. I know that got deep quickly. Lol.

Curious as the function of said spacers. Does it offset the TSS sensor further back? Are they only applied to top/or bottom to cant the angle of sensor?

They do push the sensor further back and adjusts the angle.

You're a genius Matt! Not even 5 miles and the light just went off. Tested my cruise with tss and worked great!

Very happy and still the best grille on the market!
