Depends. What do you use your truck for? Highway, light trails, crawling? Maintenance wise, ball joints will be minimal vs uniballs. I also have the cheaper alternatives: Icon 1” tubular uniball UCA for $600 or Camburg UCA with Moog ball joints for $500, both brand new.

Light trails and highway, with like the Icon or other top brand UCAs what is to gain instead of running stock UCAs? I guess what I'm saying is is there anything wrong with just keeping the stockers? New to the game I suppose just curious

Corrects your alignment, especially caster numbers. Strength, more articulation than stock BJs, and fancier so you impress your pals...just kidding.

Nothing wrong with running stock UCAs. Honestly in your case, you might not need it. Stocks will be sufficient until you start binding the BJs.

I do like impressing the pals-lol ok so in my case what would you recommend for a upgrade with minimal maintenance to gain some more articulation and strength? Thanks for the info

Probably the Camburg UCA with the Moog ball joints. I’ll send you a pm with more info. :)
