Looking to sell my 2005 Speedway Blue X-Runner. It currently has just over 15,000 miles (yes, 15k) and is in excellent condition. I'm the second owner, and bought it just under two years ago with 11k miles. The truck has always been in Northern California (Sacramento) and garaged.

The truck is stock with the following exceptions:
    • Sony XAV-AX100 headunit (BT, CarPlay, etc.)
    • Rearview camera in tailgate handle
    • Phone controls added to the steering wheel (OEM, integrated with Sony headunit)
    • Overhead console with compass and temp (OEM)
    • 2" Receiver hitch
Current listing of X-Runners for sale on Cars.com here.

The previous owner had installed a billet grilled -- I replaced it with an OEM grille. I still have the old unit if you want it.

Undercarriage shot taken shortly after I purchased it ... pretty clean:

Can you post more pics? Especially of the interior. Is the suspension stock or has it been lowered? If I buy it, would you ship it to Missouri?

I'll get some interior shots today after work. The interior is clean with no tears or stains on the seats, no modifications other than those specified in initial post (Sony headunit, overhead console, and phone controls on the steering wheel).

The truck is mechanically stock front-to-back ... no suspension mods or engine mods. This is a very unmolested truck.

I'm not interested in trying to do remote deals or shipping ... just too much risk involved.

Thanks for the additional info. Too bad you won't work with me though. I've been looking daily for this exact truck for a long time.
There really isn't any risk on your part though. All the risk is with me. You would have full payment and the truck in hand. I once sold a Toyota Rav 4 on Ebay, and shipped it from MO to Lake Tahoe. It was an easy and smooth transaction. Let me know if you change your mind please.

Thanks for adding the extra pics. Your truck is beautiful. Makes me miss my 2006 X-runner that I never should have traded. :( I hope you will reconsider not selling / shipping it to me.

Dunno if this would make OP feel more secure but if you coordinate with the seller and cover gas out and a ticket back and I'll drive it to you. I loves me road trips.

I live in Maryland and bought an extremely rare car sight unseen and had it shipped from Washington state. The risk is on the buyer, not the seller. Make sure you coordinate with both your bank and their bank and the funds clear and then it’s on the buyer to arrange the shipping.

Ya ... I may be doing this ... talked to a friend that's done the same with some of his cars. I'm willing to negotiate on price if someone would be wanting to fly out to check it out in person.

Yep, I've bought and sold from out of state many times. All the risk really is with the Buyer. That's my point.

Interesting offer, and thanks. I really wouldn't want to put all the miles on it though. The low miles is what makes me want the truck.

Still available? I'm still wanting your truck if you will drop it off and a shipper to Missouri? I'd offer you $17,500 shipped if you are interested?

Yes, still available. I’ve just been preoccupied with other matters so I haven’t advertised it or anything.

Let me look into shipping companies... in the meantime pm me your zip code in case shippers need it for an estimate

If the buyer was really interested? Get a clue. I am actually offering to buy his truck. I think that IS interested. Plus, I don't fly, and even if I did, I wouldn't want to put that many miles on it getting it home.

And I’ve had autos shipped before. As I mentioned in this thread earlier, I had one shipped from Washington state to Maryland because I didn’t want to drive such a rare car across the country. I also had it shipped for far less than the $1500 you’re quoting. It was about $800 and it was inside a truck, not on an open trailer. The potential buyer doesn’t want to put the miles on the truck because the low miles are what appeals to him.

It sounds like OP has an interested buyer who is willing to pay to get it shipped to him. Why are you trying to hurt his potential sale? There’s literally nothing wrong, at all, with having a vehicle shipped.

Add another one to the list. I've sold 2 cars out of state. Plenty of good and cheap shipping companies. I ended up using a freighter as hot shot towing was more than double the cost. $800 to ship my karman ghia to Louisiana. Buyer assumes 100% liability. Both times they bought sight unseen. Just make sure the check clears first and make them figure out shipping.bill of sale stating current condition of vehicle, no warranty and no liability after it gets on the truck.

I agree ... this alleviates the seller of at least that portion of the risk -- and the buyer can decide how much they want to pay for what quality of shipping.

Okay kids let's keep the chatter to PMs. This is a FS thread not one about the merits of vehicle/funds exchange.

Back to your regularly scheduled programming.
