    Not sure I understand... You bought another set to paint, why not just paint these? ...or were you trying to minimize down time?

    Not at all. A tug on each end (far left for the left piece, far right for the right piece) will get the clips to release. Then there's just a bunch of small philips screws holding them on to those trim pieces.
