I have a set of pretty much brand new OME 885 coil springs for sale. They were installed for about a day (literally 2 miles of driving) and immediately taken out. I didnt like the amount of lift they gave to the front end.

These are a bulky item so I would prefer a FTF sale. <885's SOLD PENDING FUNDS>

I also have a set of TRD Off Road Bilstein shocks for sale. They were on my truck for 31K miles. I swapped out to 5100's. Asking $75.00. Again I would prefer a FTF.

Got any pictures of it lifted on the 885's? More or less lift than the 5100's?

how much lift do the springs give with 5100s at each setting?

or can you only go to .85" with different springs

Bump for good coils. I ran these with OME shocks and loved the ride.

I have my 5100's set at 1.75 with the rear TSB. The truck sits pretty much level now. With the 885's and 5100's set at "0" the truck looked like it was about to leave the runway on route from LAX to Honolulu.

    as it stands now:

As i said with my 5100's set to "0" they gave a huge (for me) amount of lift. Im going to guess at least 3".

ive got the wheelers 1.5" AAL no tsb and my 5100s are at 2.5" with the sport springs and i wanted to get more lift so i was thinking new springs and just leave the billies at 0".

    so these springs + 5100s @ 0 = 3" aprox?

since its 3" do i need new UCAs?

Im thinking yes, they would provide more lift that 2.5 5100's. Maby someone else could chime in on this. And yes i think its a pretty good idea to get UCA's if you are going with these springs.

I think you have to set the billies to .85" to get ~3" total. And its best to get new uca's. Good performance and perfect alignment specs.

That will give you much more than 3" lift. Set at the 0" setting, they should give 3".

But why do they say add top plate for full 3"? The top plate is 1/2" and gives 3/4" lift. So technically they would only give ~2.25"......? Then add the billies at .85" and you get 3.10"......?

Thats just what I always thought. I think each person is different maybe. I was running mine without top plates and got a little less than 3".

Im still at 3" lift with mine. They only settled about 1/4" in the first month, and havent settled any since.

would setting the 5100s any higher than 0" be a bad idea?

well if you have UCAs and your a prerunner so you wont have any problems with cvs, but your angles will cause a lot of wear to your suspension components

Im not sure why they say that... I was told from an OME rep, the new springs give close to the full 3" lift. Thats what I got, and a few others I have installed them on. Im not useing the spacers either. It may very from a 4x4 to a prerunner though....

I wouldnt go higher than the .85" setting, and then, only if you had an aftermarket UCA.

I think this is the case, because my fender-wells to the ground are about 37.75 with 285s

    yes you will

I'm running 885s w/ 1/2" spacer 5100 bilsteins at 0 up front, 5100 and toytec TSB AAL plus tsb aal out back

oh i had to use the spacer to get the full 3" I was about 2.25-2.5" w/o... (I was lower than a bilstein w/ stock springs at 2.5) now I'm slightly over 3"...like 3.25" on passenger side, I bought mine from toytec and the label said 885x (i'm not sure if these are the updated that Chris4x4 is talking about)
