I sent you a pm. Quoted from my ebay ad "CANADIANS. Shipping to Ontario adds $7 to price and approximately 1 extra week of shipping through Customs. Have not received a quote for other provinces."

Great product, looks much better. I would like to know if you have any longer screws the ones that mount the plate itself, just in case someone like me wants to mount a light tint plate protector on top of the license plate. Other than that is a great product

Sorry but all I have are the 8 mm long screws. The next readily available, last time I searched, bulk length is 16 mm long which is too long. You can buy 12 mm long individual screws at your local auto parts or hardware store fairly cheap. Locally our Autozone carries longer black nylon screws, m6-1 x 16 mm long, that can easily be cut to the desired length. That pack comes with 4 screws and 4 nuts for roughly $2. Whatever length you purchase just make sure they are m6-1 threads (6 mm diameter x 1 mm pitch = threads are 1 mm apart). I do realize that the 8 mm long screws are just long enough for the license plate itself and I will research buying 12 mm long screws for the next run. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
UPDATE. I have been searching for the m6 screws in 10 or 12 mm lengths. I am running into the same issues as previous searches. Everything I find has a hex or torx drive. I think most people own a philips or flat screwdriver so I hate to include screws that require tools that the average Joe does not have readily available. At least with the slotted screws I provide they can be installed or removed with a penny. I will continue searching for longer screws with standard screwdriver slots.

Please read quote from instructions on previous page post #128. FWIW I have added a disclaimer to the ebay ad that warns of potential license plate damage from the powerful aggressive agitators in automatic car washes. I simply take 2 minutes to remove my plate when I use the car wash and instruct others to do the same. The current bracket design is strong and safe however the thin aluminum license plate is 60% exposed and more vulnerable. I am drawing up plans for a new type of bracket that will offer more protection to the entire plate yet remain hidden. Once I have machined, assembled, tested and proven the new design I may do a production run. Nothing guaranteed but I am developing a prototype. I am just afraid it may be too expensive to put on the market. We will see.

The aforementioned full plate all hidden car wash safe prototype replacement bracket in the planning stage (compared to the current bracket). It will make the license plate sit roughly 1.5" higher on the bumper. Still just an idea.

Well if I manufacture them they will def be more expensive and a lot more labor involved. Not saying it won't happen. For starters the shipping alone will be triple the weight thus increased shipping costs. I will work on it. I am looking at probably in the $25 range with the added materials and machine work on top of shipping. If I can make it reasonably priced then I will make and sell them. Just keep a watch and see what happens. Not trying to price myself out the intended market for license plate holders. I do appreciate the interest.

New prototype complete. Works with 4 screws. Can be flipped 180° to make plate sit higher or lower. Seems very rigid. Lots of time and effort involved. Requires 3 times the material, double the labor and over double the hardware. I do like it. With additional shipping and extra material costs it would sell for nearly double the price of my original mount to make it a worthwhile investment. Same mounting using the pre-drilled holes used to mount the factory/dealer plate bracket. The prototype is made with scrap materials thinner than my production material but seems to be just as solid and rigid. I think using 4 screws in license plate adds to the rigidity of it even with 1/8" top and bottom plates. Sides, that mount to bumper, are still 3/16" thick.
EDIT: After calculating the labor and expenses of producing this new bracket I have concluded that, still including all stainless fasteners, shipping as a complete assembly and more than doubling the shipping price with priority shipping, that anything less than $32.50 each would not be worth my time. I also have determined that, using the same plate materials used in the prototype, that the strength is completely acceptable. Adding thicker top and bottom plates will only add useless weight. As built I cannot force any flex in the assembly whatsoever. It is rock solid. You must realize that in comparison to the original design that this design requires machining 3 additional plates, drilling and tapping 10 additional holes, polishing 3 additional plates as well as assembling the bracket. Shipping assembled or not requires the same shipping price due to the weight which is triple the weight of the original bracket. At this time $32.50 is a lowest target price. Depending on the labor time involved that price could be as high as $35. My labor is worth something since this entire assembly is done on manual machines and not on cnc machines.
The price is high but is less than half of a BozzMount which appears to be mostly injection molded parts most likely from China. So I leave the future of this product in your hands. If you are interested and serious about purchasing then, with enough people willing to commit to a pre-order, I will invest in materials and manufacture these. Thanks for the interest and thanks to those 125 or so people who have purchased my original bracket. As of this time I only plan on continuing with the status quo of manufacturing the original brackets.

For any 2nd genners that have a plate mounted directly to their bumper, or really anyone with a plate mounted directly to the bumper, I have a few brackets that will get the plate away from the bumper. The plate will permanently damage the paint underneath. I modified one for a friend and figured I would modify a few more. Still works on 3rd gen too.
@TiHo and @EagleUSMCRet be patient if you want one of the new ones. Even if I don't sell enough for a 20-25 piece production run I will make at least 2 for you guys.

Newest prototype teasers. Will be done by Saturday. To keep shipping price low will have to ship as pieces in one package with hardware and simple assembly instructions. Will need to simply install 4 screws holding the 4 plates together. Everything should fit together super easy with 4 flat head m4 screws. Then the 2 flat head screws to mount bracket to bumper and 4 m6 license plate screws. Still need to drill, countersink and tap holes in the prototype. This is soft 6063 test material and zinc screws. I am confident this will be plenty strong especially with the added 4 screws in the license plate. After assembled and tested I will need another week or so to have the better materials and stainless fasteners delivered before I start a production run. Fingers crossed I can get this all together and shipped for the target of $25.

Finally assembled, tested, postal first class shipping approved full plate bracket for $26.50 delivered. With all the labor and the costs of stainless fasteners I just couldn't get it down to $25 as hoped. Still knocked price down by $6.49 from the original plan. This is only the prototype made of local store cheaper softer aluminum and it is still plenty strong. When I buy the correct material it will be even stronger. Need to order all new fasteners and materials. This is a solid product. Take a good look. I will not drill the production parts as large for the mounting holes. The way it is assembled allows the mounting flat head screws to stick out slightly so they don't need as deep of countersinks. Still reversible for low or high mounting for those with a light bar in the lower grille. Response will dictate how many to manufacture.
