Cancelled - skid is defective and no longer for sale

    Sorry!

I bought a gas tank skid from RAT a year or two ago for my 2002 Ext cab and never installed it. At this point, my tank is so dented there's no point in putting it on so somebody buy it from me!

    image.jpg image.jpg

Rattlecanned as soon as it arrived, it's just been sitting collecting cobwebs and dust. Can meet somewhere but would prefer local pickup in LA/sgv area. I can toss the skid in with someone driving North or South if desired. On that same tip I'll likely be moving to CO soon.

IDK what else to say, time to stahp!

Id love this thing but shipping would be a bear to Houston (logistics/packaging/etc). Are these still being made? And if so, by whom? Not sure I'm getting the right results when searching the interweb

Replied to your PM. Willing to pay asking price and pick up. Just can't do it till Sunday.

Also, two 1/2" holes need to be drilled in the crossmember from what I remember reading in the group buy post. Shouldn't be too tough of an install.

Thanks again for letting me take it home to compare it with mine. Per our text conversation, it's identical to my fuel tank skid. Again, I haven't done a test fit since I was refunded by @RAT PRODUCTS for my fuel tank skid (he was nice enough to let us know in our group buy that they were "bent backwards").

I'm not trying to ruin your for sale thread, but I'd hate for someone to buy a product that may not fit. If anything, you should contact @RAT PRODUCTS to see if you guys can work something out. Seems pretty clear to me:

Thank you for the info man! Just from holding it next to the gas tank I thought it was a fit. You bought from a different GB than I did, but seeing as they are both the same piece of steel, I'd like to know why we didn't hear from @RAT PRODUCTS and receive refunds in the previous GB.

I'm with you on that. I noticed that only a few on your group buy list purchased fuel tank skids. Wondering if their's were made incorrectly too...hopefully you're able to find a resolution with the vendor.
