    On a private sale its a gray area, since there is really nothing that says a private seller must follow any rules, with the exception that he/she must not knowing sell the firearm to any restricted individuals. Part of that restriction would be selling to out of state residence. So unfortunately no neither he nor I will sell it to any non AZ residence without sending to a FFL dealer in the buyers state/city.

    I'm a FFL dealer and manufacturer and not willing to put my life/business at risk for a $300 pistol.. :)

    Yep, still available. You would only have a FFL fee if your FFL in VA would charge you to do a transfer. I think it's pretty common for a FFL to charge about $25.00 for the transfer fee.

    If you're interested in it, I'm sure the seller would be willing to cover the shipping costs to your FFL to offset the FFL fees.
