Unfortunately not. I don’t believe any aftermarket bed rack will allow this. You would have to completely remove the top section and even then the side bars would probably be in the way.

 

My current rack will allow this, but I don’t think it will work for a roof top. Also not sure how much rust is hidden under the powder coating .

Can possibly ship if buyer pays for it. I would estimate at least $150 for freight costs.

 

What is the overall weight you can put on top of the rack and can it be used for A rooftop tent?

 

I’m not sure about the weight. @ovrlndkull might be able to help.

@uploadadventure has this same rack and has MANY miles with a RTT attached to it. Maybe he can post some pics of his setup as well so you have an idea what it would look like painted and installed.

Yeah. I had a 200 lbs roam vagabond XL on it for a long time. No issues. We’ve had 5 people sleeping in the tent (me. Wife. Our kids. My step son, total weight 850 lbs plus 200 tent) and we didn’t have any issues.
