@SUMOTNK is a great seller, speaking from experience, and if your running a bbk and rear disk conversion you will want this if your taco has same style booster. Also speaking from experience.

The brake master cylinder that comes with this SOS Performance kit is off a 1st Gen Toyota Sequoia (XK30/XK40).

And per SOS Performance's website, "This kit is not required for rear disc conversion, but does create a firmer pedal." So yes, you can use this kit with or without the rear disc conversion.

If there a diff from the 05-08 to the 09-23? Also, any benefits to adding to w/ out the disc conversion? Looking at the swap but need a deep sale lol. Thx!

 

SOS Performance states that your original brake booster should look like this (05-09) if planning to use the items that I'm selling.

yes I run it without the rear discs, I put it on for front BBK and 35's

Haven't driven my truck in over 2 years now, but I feel like I need to start working on it in order to drop the coin it is going to take to put a real rear end in it and get it back on the road again. And the one thing I hated about the truck since doing the 5g4r front brake upgrade was the pedal feel. I need to go see if this will work on my truck. For some reason I thought that the TRD Off-Road had a weird brake master cylinder so this kit or the Tundra swap was possible. But I have been out of the tacoma game for 2 years and just been licking my wounds and trying to keep the new daily running(2005 Duramax w/342k). If this works with my truck, I am very seriously interested.
