FS: Stock Grills For Satoshi

The link is for 2007 models, but if you look up '08 the grill assembly is available too. not offered for 2009-'10s but all 2005-'10s have the same fit grill, so it will fit.

There's a DC Sport silver near my son's school. I'm sooooo tempted to go knock on their door and offer to switch grilles with them LOL. They'd probably call the police on me though.

Just got an email that the grille is on backorder I got a refund and have to check back in a week... Man, I was really hoping to start on my Satoshi soon.

 

Joneill, blackhawke88 has a ling on for sale page for perforated steel already precut to fit the grill for $39.99

 

yeah that's the link I went to. It says on backorder till April 5th. I guess I'll check back next week. In the mean time I guess I can cut up the grille when it gets here and get it ready...
The grille is supposed to be here on the 30th, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's good quality and makes it here in one piece.

 

I've got the opposite issue. The mesh is sitting in my room already, just need the grille. I think I'd rather be on your end, at least you can get to modifying the grille. Good luck with it!

Be sure to let us know when you get it and take some before pics - I'm real curious to see the quality of these bad boys.

yeah i got mine and the shell corners werent glued right and they stuck out by the hood and headlight corner. the bottom edge where those tabs are, werent all the way thru either, and the bottom shell stuck out abit. nothing alittle cut and reglue fixes but its not that great of a fit. im selling my chrome OEM one now and there is NOTHING fitting better then OEM.....hands down.

 

According to UPS mine left the warehouse on Friday and sat in a UPS center in Charlotte all weekend. It's now being shown as going to Greensboro and leaving Greensboro and on it's way to me still shows ETA 30 March. I'll snap some photos of it when I get it and post them up. I'm off Thursday and Friday so I plan on starting to mod the grille those days but before I start cutting it up I want to put it on my truck and make sure it fits. I'll do that Thurs and post up pics of that too.
Gonna be a busy weekend between that and painting my sons room.

i hate companies like partsgeek who never answer their phones, and dont update their websites when parts are out of order.

you run a business.. run it right... All i got was an email saying i got a credited refund with no explanation. I found out why through this thread. I dont think i'll ever do business with parts geek again. unless they get these grills in again of course =P

 

Same Story for me. Weak sauce.bunch o lowlifes and general malcontents.
Oh well, saves me $$$... I;m gonna have to get it right the first time with my one and only grille. dont have to paint now at least...
