Still loving this product! It's so nice to be able to set my phone in it for GPS and not have to look down for it. Also makes it easy to surf during stopped traffic, and stop lights. I'll let you know how it does when I make it to some trails.

There is no difference in the factory mirror mounts from the AC, DC versus the Regular Cab is there?

I really want that mirror mount piece!

    Found out myself,

Had to take the RC in for a recall, and they loaned me a SBDC, the seats sit you a lot higher in the OffRoad models then when compared to my RC seats, comfy but higher none the less,

Just ordered a Tech Deck and Mirror mount,

Looking forward to this mod, :D

Got both items in the mail today, look great! Can't wait to get them in,

You can see in the picture the RC trucks have a slightly different mirror, Just went to the hardware store and had to get the next longer bolt to let the mirror snug onto the extension, funny thing is the mirror is standard threads, lol... like a 10-24 or something.

Love this thing, its hard to tell but thanks to this relocation I have my mirror just off from touching my headliner, works great and if I ever get into a better position job wise and want to trade up to a DCLB this part is coming with me!

    A+ guys!

I just got the deck mounted, I used a small piece of double sided tape on the two machine screws for the top of the Extreme Version because I hope to be trading within the next two years or sooner.

I had gotten a great deal on a mount from eBay. The XL X-grip by RAM, holds my Note 2 perfectly. I used the right side mounting location and put the ball on the bottom.

You guys outdid yourself on these two items, 2 BIG thumbs up fellas!

I am going to mount two X-grips for iPhones on mine (work and personal phones). What arms work best for X-grips on the Tech-Deck?

There are two arm lengths, what works best with X-grip for iPhone?

I use the short mount for both my phone and a small tablet. Access to the knobs and adjustability are good. I thought the short mounts would vibrate less, so that's the set up I went with. I'm still happy after six months of use.
