    Can anyone elaborate for those who have installed the riser and have the backup camera in the rear view? I'm just not seeing why having a wire hanging down would hinder the install, I think the electronic mirror has a little more bulk, is that the issue? Any input appreciated

    I'm now wondering if I should have ordered this after going back and reading posts about missing parts. I ordered the tech deck and the mirror riser about two weeks ago. I emailed the companies address listed on the site and didn't get a response. I called and the number is disconnected....anyone else having issues with recent orders?

    Didn't have any problems either. Ordered mine about a month ago, received in a week with all parts needed. Only thing I had to get was the screws for my RAM ball mounts. Easy trip to HD for those.

    Ordered a couple weeks ago and got it installed last week. Great product in my opinion. I fiddled with my phone in my lap and on flimsy mounts for too long. My advice: Order the extreme duty version. If you're going so far as to drill holes in your truck anyway, the installation of the backer bar for the extreme version is actually the least intrusive part of the installation and it's very straightforward. For the added strength, I think it's a no-brainer.

    Installed for iphone and ipad mini great product works great took me about 45 minutes to install (extreme version) no issues other than running a screw driver in my pocket down the dash:sadviolin:

    I can't answer your first question, but I would not use rivets for the install. You would have to put a washer on the backside of the plastic in order for the rivet to not pull through the plastic. The machine screws work just fine.

    Yes it is, I have the entune radio, thanks and thanks for the tip on the rivets.

    One more question, are these just screwed into the plastic or does it use a screw/bolt and nut?
