Question about the usaspec iPod adapter does it charge the iPod? And can you change song from the iPod w/o unplugging it?

Thats a sick tonneau cover! quick question about it.. do you think it can be used with a tool box? it appears that I could just install it to foward side of the tool box and not unroll it all the way..

That's AT LEAST 1/2 price for the tonneau!! I wish I were closer as I've been interested in this specific one for a while now. Just out of curiosity, how is it installed? Do you lose your rails?

^^^ I messaged OP a long time ago, he responded once about the weather techs, he must just be away from his comp..

Lookin at the pics of the tonneau, you can se the stock top rails there.. it probably bolts on to the rail system where the cleats go.. i think

It could probably be made to work with a toolbox but it would require the side rails to be cut shorter. I would ask the guys at American roll cover to be certain.

Yes it will charge and you can use the steering wheel controls to changes songs or you can use the ipod / iphone as well.

Lower price? I might pay the shipping unless you live in New Zealand or something...

You will need to run two wires out of the tailgate (no drilling required) to the threshold of one of the doors and connect to the electric lock wires.

    Very easy to do.

To install the front cargo rail must be removed so it can make a water tight seal to the front of the bed. The sides use the cargo rail system to mount. Two clamps on each side and thats it. Very easy to install.

The only drilling required are the three hols for the water drains. One in the front and one on each side.

This is a very nice cover. I think it is the strongest and best looking retractable top on the market. This top is almost perfect all but a tiny little dent where a fould ball landed on it. You can see it in the photo if you look very close on teh drivers side next to the rails... mid way down.

If you know softball this dent was put in it by Olympic gold medal winner and ESPN anlyst Jessica Mendoza. Shes kind of cute too...

There are videos on youtube on how to install this cover. Check them out.
