    I may be needing another one of these at some point. I've noticed it starting to do some kind of corroding thing in one spot where it is against battery. Battery is dry on top so it isn't the caps leaking. Dunno, just nature of proximity to the battery I suppose.

    Yes. But I believe the Optima batteries are shorter than a stock battery. This would require you to trim the j-bolts.
