FS: TRD Catback Exhaust for DCLB

I decided to cut the stock exhaust off at the axle and put it on in an effort to gain better ground clearance, so the trd catback exhaust had to go. I’ve had it for a few months and a few thousand miles. Cost me around $775 new from Ventura Toyota. This is for the DCLB. Also, I’m not sure if it will work for 2nd gen, but its good for the 3rd gen. Sounds wonderful..subdued but wonderful. Selling for $600 obo. Thanks.

 

What is the brown part in the middle?

 

It appears to be some sort of discoloration that has occurred naturally to the muffler. I baby the truck and haven’t done any sort of wheeling. Nothing has ever made contact with the muffler. Because of how symmetrical it is, I’m betting it has something to do with what’s right in that spot inside of the muffler. Maybe someone else will chime in..

 

You can take some scotch brite to it, and it will good as new.

I made that trip when I picked up my audio system from Marv.

 

Brown ring is normal. Has no affect on the exhaust and is not a defect. I wouldn't scotch brite it.

 

With my work schedule probably won’t have a day off until October other than a root canal appt.It should fit a 2018 but will look into it

That's good news, just wondering why it does that... and why it does that on the same exact spot

 

Maybe is the spot in the muffler were the exhaust reaches the side wall before getting redirected again.
