FS: TRD Sport front Air dam

He did the same thing to me except I paid 75.00. I filed a paypal dispute and they got my cash back. Gave me the run around for 32 days saying his work shipped it, etc etc. then just stopped responding to me, that's when I had PayPal step in. Luckily I got my cash back through a charge back, guess I am member number 3 this dude tried to rip off on the same part

 

I smell a heretic in need of a good shunning.

 

Man I've tried selling my dam air dam for a while, for a cheaper price, and not one PM. Guess I'm not skeezy enough.

I posted mine for sale in here a week or so ago. Not much action for it, though one guy sent me a PM about it last night. Still waiting on him to reply to me. It will end up in the dumpster within 2 weeks if it sits here any longer. As a minimalist I hate to even see something useless on the shelf.

 

Now that I look at it, one of the guys who was ripped off is one the PM'd me. I'll do my best to take care of him.

 

To OP or whom ever. There really s/be a way of assuring the buyer is getting what he bought and the seller gets their money. Twice now I've tried to arrange a purchase of listed 2016 Off Road wheels with sellers who disappear once I insist on a paypal invoice and an assigned shipping number that can be tracked. Sort of makes you wonder if they really had wheels to sell or were just scamming. A certain amount of confidence in the system is required, certainly it is difficult to build immediately so maybe TW should consider some clearing house or broker position, something like like E bay to provide a " bridge" that enables the $ to be released, but only when the delivery is confirmed.
I've had very good luck here so far on a few small items and have dealt directly with some TW official Vendors like Mob Town without issue. But I get uneasy with individual postings that initially don't even meet the posting requirements the TW site has listed, also too easy to jump out to PM and lose control of transaction.

 

Correct, definitely wouldn't be ideal for them to provide an escrow service as they and buyers/sellers would have to absorb the fees associated with it. If someone wanted to sell that way they may as well just list it on eBay and advertise the listings on here.

I am a member of a sports card forum though and they have an "iTrader" feedback system, you post the link to a trade/sell you've made and can leave feedback for people on there. Positive/negative/neutral. You can only leave feedback for others after you've reached +5 feedbacks yourself (stops scammers/new members for feedback trading/boosting). This seems to work well there.
