I am selling a used TRD supercharger with about 8k miles on it. Part # PTR01-35962-01 newer TRD part # PTR29-89020 .

This is a used but in excellent condition TRD supercharger produces a maximum horsepower gain of 75hp at 5200 RPM and a maximum torque gain of 77lb.ft. at 5200 RPM. Peak horsepower gain is 64hp (187hp to 251hp) and peak torque increase is 50lb.ft. (225lb.ft. to 275lb.ft.). You must run premium 91 octane fuel!!!

This part fits the following vehicles:
    Toyota: 4Runner 1996 - 2002
    Toyota: Tacoma 1997 - 2004
    Toyota: Tundra 2000 - 2004 3.4l
Wont work with engines with EGR Valves if used with URD 7th injector kit.

I purchased the Trd Supercharger from a man who removed it from his leased Tacoma before he returned it. I have not used it, I was in the process of building a complete kit when I sold my 01 tacoma for a newer one which this will not work on. It is missing one part for installation the throttle body gasket made specifically for the supercharger. TRD part # PTR29-60030 it can be found on trdparts4u.com for $8.40 plus shipping.

Also included is a brand NEW in the box URD 7th injector kit, Which includes a piggyback computer, Walboro fuel pump, extra injector, tuning software, all necessary parts to install. It comes pre programmed to supplement the factory fuel system to make the 3.4 TRD supercharger not only run more efficient and reliable, but gains 30 to 40 HP. Thats a total of 280-290 HP. with better reliability. It however will not work on the 5vz-fe 3.4 engines which have EGR valves. The 7th injector is designed to mount in the port the EGR would have been routed to on the supercharger, making it unusable on those vehicles with EGR's.

Also included is a URD 2.2in Supercharger pulley.

    Asking for $2900 shipped.

    Thanks

So the 7th injector won't work with the 3.4 engine?

That's what I was thinking too, but did some additional research and found out that older Tacos (98-99? ) have the EGR valves.

Correct. Most if not all of the later year 3.4l trucks came without EGR. Early model years were more likely to have it. I just got the 7th injector kit installed on my 04 v6 a few weeks ago.

EGR equipped Tacomas with the supercharger are recommended to run URDs larger injector kit to solve lean issues since they can't run the 7th injector.

Can you just delete EGR and run the 7th injector kit?

This is VERY tempting. Not sure whether to go this route or just regear. Currently running 32x11.5 but looking to bump up to 33s when these wear out

I don't see why not. I deleted the EGR on my 3rz when I turbocharged it. I just needed a 10k ohm resistor to keep the check engine light off. I would guess the process is similar on a 5vz
