    Dang, I almost sent this guy money when it was first posted. Glad I didn't! I knew it seemed too good to be true. He even agreed to $2k without negotiating! That was the red flag for me!

    Was this done through PayPal? I used to sell on eBay a lot and Reddit and I know a thing or two about scams. You can file a dispute through PayPal and you will 99% win and get your money back as PayPal tends to side with the buyer but ONLY if you paid using 'Paying for Goods and Services' if you used 'sending money to friends or family' or Google Wallet or anything else you're boned. Maybe try filing a dispute with your bank.

    I sell on other forums evom and corral and both make you show your username and date in all pics for sale. This just helps to prove you have the items for sale. I think this should be used on this forum as well just for added protection for the buyer.

    Hey, I'm the real quadsbc, my account was hacked here, 4Runner and expedition portal. I haven't received any money from this person, I did on 4Runner forum but returned it thinking he paid the wrong person. More details there, this thread is definitely a scam. Maybe the mods can track them and there is contact info in the link for the scammer.

    I haven't been active on this site in over a year. I clicked a link that I happened to post in over a year ago and saw I was banned. I had to make a new screen name and share this info. Sorry you got scammed, I'd never do such a thing.

    I got screwed out of 250 bucks years ago on a new digital police scanner. Paypal wouldnt help.....had to file a police report and reported it through an FBI online site for online scams....I didnt get shit back...

    Btw, I too got scammed by this guy over in the t4r forum. Contacted the authorities and bank but too bad it was a bank transfer so I was basically sol. It’s been a couple of months and still have not received an answer back from anyone.
