    whats involved with installing this? Ive heard I need to modify or cut my stock rails in the bed? I am located in SF but am very interested if we can work something out.

    Thats a good question, can you supply photos of your stock bed? This is what was supplied on the bed for mounting hardware. Im assuming your bed wont have the holes but maybea marking of where the holes need to get tapped. It would be right under the black molding, you would have to cut out a notch from it to fit this. Other than this there should be nothing serious done.

    Yeah I dont have those so I think I'd need to install them and line them up the best I can. Other than that do I need to change the outside bed rails, the plastic long pieces that go the length of the bed?

    that's it you would just need to line them up. The bed rail itself shouldn't need to be touched, it sits right above it
