Out of curiosity what kinda mpg were you getting out of this thing when you dailyed it

 

With the propane, about 30mpg of diesel. It's hard to gauge the propane consumption, so I never bothered.

Yeah, I'm not happy about it. The car has been sitting though.
I'm just glad I found out before selling it to someone that didn't know about the issues.
I feel it's priced appropriately now for the parts that are on it. If nothing else, I'll part a few things out, and donate the car.

 

Sounds like low compression. Should be easy to throw a gauge on there and see if you need rings or if there’s a problem in the head.

 

Yeah, I just don't have time to deal with it right now. The car's got to be gone in the next few weeks, and I'm busy working on other projects during that time. Someone can get a deal here for sure.
