    URD Throttle Body Adapter, 65 to 76mm for 1GR-FE 4.0L V6 (05+ Tacoma, 07-09 FJ, 03-09 4Runner)

Like new, never used, never installed. Been sitting on my shelf for years. Currently out of stock at URD.

$50 PP, friends&fam, shipped US only.

    From URD...

This CNC billet machined adapter plate will allow you to install a larger throttle valve on your single VVTi 1GR-FE 4.0L V6 engine.

It fits the 1GR-FE engines with the single VVTi (05+ Tacoma, 07-09 FJ, 03-09 4Runner) and allows you to move from the stock 65mm throttle and upgrade it to the 76mm throttle valve found on the later dual VVTi engines found in the 2005+ 2UZ-FE 4.7L V8 and 2007+ 3UR-FE 5.7L V8. Throttle valve from a 2006 Sequoia does not fit.

This adapter is used to install the much larger (76mm) throttle valve from the larger Toyota engines to your 4.0L V6.

It is a simple bolt on installation, but will take a little while for the stock ECU to learn to properly control the idle. This will be much easier to do on automatic transmission trucks than the manual transmission trucks.

What dose this actually do when upgrading to the 76mm ? Better throttle response? Better mpg? More power?
