    Nothing worthy
My wife and did it with ease. All of the wires are "pre-fabed" for your desired bed length which is a time saver. Follow his directions and if you don't mind crawling under a truck to do a simple wire fish along the frame you are good to go.

Interested in revisiting this...would that be basically two separate strips parallel to each other?

I have several sets of these - some work great, some I need help with.

My bed rail lights are great and no issues since installation years ago.

I do have some that I adhered to velcro for use on my carpeted camper shell, and that adhesive has failed in the heat. Does anyone have a better adhesive for high heat situations?

For hard to stick situations, bath / kitchen clear silicone works great.

None. 220k miles, just did a major brake/ suspension overhaul to keep him on the road.
I bought mine single color white (hood + bed lights) in late 2021 and just installed them. Such a sweet upgrade to not have to pull out my phone and search for something. Highly recommend, comes with everything needed to install [ except a drill bit ]. :)

question for anyone who might know

disclaimer: IMO this has nothing to do with the product, just my approach to mounting

I originally installed the bed lights using hook or loop, to my camper shell carpeted roof. No problem.

but, later I got rid of the shell. Wanting to keep the lights, I cleaned the underside of my bed rails and adhered Velcro strips.
Seemed like a quick way to slap on the lights and keep using them.

    it worked.
However I noticed over the course of days there seems to be changing; expanding or shrinking, with the strips going from flat to bunching up

has anyone else gone through this?

I’m suspecting the solution would be to simply order another roll of velcro, and redo it. Peel the current Velcro off the strips and put new. Or ignore it.

That or I should’ve put some stretch into the lights during install to keep them taut and flat.

Since they were previously installed and this is the 2nd go around, Id say the light strip needed to be pulled tighter when installed. Once installed with the 3M tape I use they don't come off and sometimes break when being removed, I'd recommend not fixing that.
