Finally decided to upgrade to a V2 (cool white) LED light kit with remote!

My light kit is slightly customized since I have a motorcycle bed bar.

Your topper is carpeted, correct? How'd you secure the strips? I want to do this in my topper.

I believe its stuck to the aluminum window frame.

Did some custom lighting in an old RV, nothing would stick to those walls/ceiling so I tried silicone and there still up today.

Hmm, ok. I have the 6 foot bed and want to do this. Would I order a short bed kit since the side windows are obviously shorter than the bed?

I installed mine yesterday with a buddy of mine. It only took about an hour or so. Very easy install, and super clean. Here are some pics and a video for those who want to see them in action. Seriously, get these. They are very nice and well worth the money. Thanks Matt!

Yep, stuck to the aluminum frames all around the topper - even though they fire upward it gives full and even lighting of the bed :D

Good idea Paul, with passing thru the bed wall behind the rail end cap! Wish I would've did that. Very clean!

Do you have a short bed or a long bed and which light kit did you use?

It's a long bed w/ a LEER 100RCC with the windoors so there was plenty of frame width to stick to. Matt hooked me up with custom length strips with wire pigtails in the length I needed. I think it was a 36" strip with 15' of wire, a 36" with 5' of wire, a 48" strip with 10' of wire, and a 48" with 5' of wire. The shorts are front and rear and the longs are on the sides. I ran the wire under the carpet and it looks really slick.

Thanks OZ-T, your truck is one of the reasons I went that route. The DCLB's look sweet with a lift and topper
