hi, couple questions....these do look great!
    1. how long have the lights been lasting?
    2. I live in a cold climate with plenty of snow, will the adhesive hold up?
    3. I am nervous about the wiring, is the typical install into the fuse box or is there a less invasive way to wire it?

I have a shortbed, is the price $100 with a free remote?

    Thanks!

Am I correct in my understanding that the remote can toggle the lights independent of the switch and the switch can toggle the lights indepenedent of the remote?

Are they both connected to 12v so either can supply the LED strip?

I am most interested in the answer to 1 and 2. Also, do you ship to Canada? I have the longbed so it would be $105 USD I am assuming, but will shipping be more expensive?

    Thanks!

You are correct. The toggle switch works independently of the remote so that even if the toggle switch is off, the remote still works. Both are powered.

Yes either can power the bed lights, both are connected to 12v.

If the lights are turned on by the switch than the switch must be turned off. If the lights are turned on by the remote than they must be turned off by the remote.

The manufacture list the lights as 30,000 hours.

I do not use the poor adhesive tape that all of these 5050 LED's come with. I apply a high strength tape to the back of my lights.

I stand behind my products and if you have a problem, PM me and I will take care if it.

Dang, wish I saw this a week ago...is there a picture somewhere of the in-cab switch? Id like to use a rocker style in place. Possible?

The toggle switch gets mounted in the bed near the tailgate and the wireless remote is in the cab or in your pocket if you want to surprise your friends. ;)

How complicated is it to wire in the remote if one has a bed kit already installed?
