how are these mounted? I'm interested in something like this for my camper shell, which is also carpet-lined.

For a carpeted shell add velcro to the back of my lights. The shell light kit, I include a quick disconnect plug, the additional wire needed and install instructions.

I'm interested in your kit - bed lighting and hood lighting. What brand of lights do you use if you don't mind disclosing? I've heard some LED strips turn yellow after long term exposure to the elements, namely sun exposure. I've also heard of rusting to the LED's themselves even if rated as waterproof. I'm sure those guys were using crappy Chinese LED strips. I've noticed no one has commented on any of these issues but I still feel I need to be that guy and ask. Also, perhaps someone that has had these for a year or more chime in and report how resilient the kit has been?

    Thank you.

I've been making the bed light kits for 3-4 years now and purchased LED's from all over, as far as I can tell, there all made in China. Yes in direct sunlight the waterproofing does turn yellow over years time (I used red REDs as brake lights on a trailer). In the Tacoma's there lights are protected from the sun so that isn't an issue. I only have had 1 set color change and it was replaced for free.

I stand behind the products I sell.

Interested in your lighting kit for my DCLB. Can you send me the instructions so I can see if it's something I can perform on my own? I'm pretty handy, but haven't played much with auto electrical stuff. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. This is a nice kit. I've seen folks wanking about the price, but this is tailored to your truck and has great instructions. Will order soon. I'm actually recovering from hip replacement surgery right now. Nothing to do but play online, imagine projects and spending $$$. Definitely not in a position right now to climb under my truck to wire things to the battery.
