Hey @mattgecko will the bed lights hold up in the extreme heat that we have here in SoCal? My bed has no cover for shade so when parked, I'm exposed to sunlight. know what i mean?

Should be no problem, my truck has always been parked outside and exposed to the sun.

Cool. Also, I know you make under the hood lights. Will you be planning on making a floor cab ambient type of light? One that dims on and off like the dome light when a door opens and closes?

I've been making the under cab lights for years but only by request.

That is awesome! But what about for the inside of the cab?

Any chance I can get the instructions, I'm weary of the modification of my truck since it's the newest vehicle I've ever owned and drilling/cutting anything seems sacrilege. Not sure if I want to try this yet.
Looks like an awesome product, and I'll never understand why Toyota never implemented a bed light. Thanks for the research and work you've put into this!

Hey man, I totally get that. I felt the sane way but once i was done I knew I did the right thing. very minimal modifications. if I remember correctly if you went with in cab only switches you would only need one small hole drilled in the bed and one for ground underneath. other than that if you did use a in bed switch there is just one other hole and it's in a place you could replace that little plastic part if you wanted to go back .
