    Matt - do the bed lights still have very thin wiring? Mine failed and I'm having a hard time getting any copper to show for soldering or crimping. If I get another set I want to make sure the same thing doesn't happen.

    @la0d0g
    The wiring is the correct size for the lights.

    Please PM me picture(s) of the failure so I can access it. Thanks

    Sorry, I want saying the wiring was inadequate just that it's not conducive to fixing when broken/cut. No worries my friend.

    The wiring could be crimped or soldered back together. I did have a customer that had the two side light strips mounted in the bed and the center light strip mounted on his shell and he forgot about them when removing the shell, damaging the center strip. We remedied that by adding disconnect plugs to the wire harnesses that connect the light strips together.

    I checked my records and don't show that I sold you any of my products.

    You have a nice build! :thumbsup:

    Thanks for the compliment. I was one of your first customers for bed lights. Probably installed then like 5 years ago :D

    Edit: I think it was more like four years ago. Either way, good product, I just abuse things a little :)

    Hey, I recently bought a camper shell that came with a set of these lights and Im excited to get it wired up. I'm not sure if the switch was part of these lights, but they are wired using a 4-Pole-Flat connector. Does this hook directly to the stock trailer connector or am I supposed to wire a relay?

    Also there is one small part where the adhesive is starting to come off. Is there a certain adhesive you guys recommend? I'm also debating putting carpet in the shell, in which case the lights have to come out anyway. If I put carpet, does anyone have suggestions on how to bond the lights to the carpet, or some other solution.

    Thank you!

    You can add velcro to the back of the lights, the hook loop sticks excellent to the carpet. The switch isn't one of mine, but I am happy to try and help you wire it. Your welcome to Email picture(s) of the switch. mattgecko@hotmail.com

    Thanks @mattgecko I love the lights and how bright they are. The kit was simple to install and instructions (in color) were easy to follow.
