    Got mine installed finally, been waiting on a door switch. Wired it so they turn on when the tailgate is open, or when I have the tonneau open I can just press the provided switch. I took out the middle string of lights because I didn't want to stick it on the tonneau canister....but now I have an extra string of lights to put on the hood!
    dont mind the dirty bed sides

    The kit comes with a quick disconnect plug that you would need to disconnect to fold your topper down.

    How " water proof" is it? I have lights that are installed underneath my truck that went out because I pull my boat in and out of the water. do you think these will withstand being submerged?

    The LED lights are completely sealed with a silicone layer from the factory, if the solder connection/wires was silicone sealed it work perfect. It can be made that way, PM me if interested.
