SOLD- Waypoints Hardshell RTT- Northern VA- $500

Up for sale is my Hardshell RTT that I got in the first round of Chandlers Group buy several years ago.

As the pictures show, she's got some obvious signs of wear being moved around the garage and loaded/unloaded several times solo.

Now that I've got a second child- we've officially outgrown this thing. Time to move on to something else.

This tent took my wife and I around the country for 2 months straight back in 2018. It served us so well. To me the major selling point of a RTT is being able to deploy it super quick and have your bed made with regular blankets and pillows. And this thing does that flawlessly. Sets up in under 1 min, and all the bedding and everything fits in there when it's closed. Takes a touch longer to break it down as you need to tuck the sides in but with the two of us it wasn't more than 2-3 minutes. We moved camp daily and ease of setup and tear down was really important. Second note from ownership is that thing stays really nicely warm in the winter.

This only saw a handful of uses in the seasons since that trip. It sat on the truck for a few months during camping season most years and as you can see it faded a bit on the top. Stored in my garage at other times.

I added a ~2" high density mattress topper which made a big difference to comfort. Has always and still stays nice and dry. Gas shocks operate like new. I added some latches in a pinch on our road trip after some of the original straps failed. Wish I had done that sooner as it is so much easier than the straps/buckles it came with.

Reduced this to $500obo. Need to get it out of the garage asap.
