In My opinion I would stay away from anything that sells AS-IS "RECONDITIONED". Especially when purchasing over Ebay when you can't veiw them and they do not accept returns.

If you lived in proximity to the eBay seller I would defintely go for it but since you really can't see or touch them, I would just pass on them.

I wanted to do the same thing...

I started to watch CL and joined a FJ forum.

I found a guy with a set of FJ 17"s about 50 miles from me. The wheels and tires had less than 500 miles on them. I then sold my Sport wheels and tires on CL for the same price only being out the cost of mounting and balancing...

I really like the different but still factory look.

Just start watching CL and join a FJ forum.. I took me a couple months, I had to check out a couple not so perfect sets and pass on a couple not so great deals, but in the end I think it was worth it

Thanks for the info guys. CL on the watch and I have joined an FJ forum and actually found a few sets within a 1-2 hour drive.

I am also looking at the FJ BBS 17" Wheels. Will these fit my Taco? They are 17" x 8", 5mm offset, 6 x 139.7 bolt pattern.
