I think it's 5.5. Or at least that is what I was told when I was at the shop contemplating buying these. He said I should go by Toyota requirements which is 5.5. *shrugs*

Yes, 5.5" is stock for our trucks. However, if you plan on stepping up tire sizes at any point you will need 4.5" backspacing in order to clear the spindle.

Oh I see. I was thinking 265/70R/17? 5.5 is not good?

Okay now I'm confused. Why 4.5? Does that make it stick out more to the fender?

Yes, it pushes the wheel out more giving you clearance between the tire and the spindle

Okay. I'm supposed to order the tires/wheels tomorrow, the guy is supposed to call me with a verification of price matching with his competitor. I'm going to talk to him about how much backspacing will make the wheels stick out.

In the meantime, don't let me keep you from selling these. If you still have them and if I'm going to do 4.5, I'll let you know, okay? Thanks for the info, everyone!

For sure Brandon. I'd actually rather sell them to you since your local and it's easier for everyone if we don't have to mess with shipping. Just let me know a little early that way I can line up some new wheels to go on the truck.
