yea, most of the prerunners from my understanding are auto. i never found a used manual prerunnerr when i was looking for this truck back in '07.

^ well, here is an easy way to get them for cheap...tell one of your buddies about my truck, when they purchase it for my full asking price i'll drop you $200 cash. you can then tell your buddy that you will help his wallet a little by buying his wheels, and it will be cheaper in the end cause i already dropped you $200 towards the wheels...its the perfect plan!!

I go to Temecula all the time and ill keep my ears open for anyone that is looking for a truck. For what its worth (IMHO) many people go by Kbb and Nada to price out a used vehicle but they don't consider after market parts. That ends up hurting you on getting a quick sale. From my experience selling used cars and bikes, if you take the time to sell the parts off the truck you will end up getting closer to the amount you want for everything. For example, if you just sell the wheels and tires for $1k with a trade for stock parts, you can then ask for $1k less and probably get more interest (LE fj wheels might not be someone's first pick but instead they want the lowest initial purchase price and have a different wheel design in mind). Many people like modding vehicles on their own and at their financial convenience. I do think you are putting up a great deal but people just want the lowest price initially and after market parts usually hurt the sale. I say this considering you want a quick sale. I feel confident that if you wait long enough, you will get your asking price without having to put in the work to part it out. MOST people want to do the work themselves, but some just want it handed to them (ahem baja owners), and in any case, this truck has mods on it that no man dare try to do on his own, lest we leave it in the hands of the professional, Yosh.

 

haha, thanks guys. im only back home in temec for a few days at a time every couple months, so that precious time will be spent with family, not parting the truck out!

 

hopefully got a buyer this weekend...i'll let y'all know if its still available after saturday.
