Saw his name, recognized it, looked at PayPal...yup, bought roof strips from him.

My dealings with him were fine, weird that he would do this to some and not others. Bugged me how he shipped them, though, since they were a pain to flatten out, but I get that it would have been expensive to do it any other way.

Why can't people just be honest?

In a couple months when you search his name again you may find a gofundme in his name and the reason will most likely be for legal fees.

    Haha... Screw this guy!

I bought a set of sway bar relocate brackets from him a while back. I go to install them and the bolts didn't fit in the relocate brackets or the oem sway bar bracket.

Screwed up the thread on one of the sway bar relocate brackets and then had to turn around and buy bolts that actually fit... Ended up being more expensive and more of a headache than just buying new.

Glad I didn't send payment as a gift!

PayPal actually has a built in escrow system that works like that. Unfortunately for people with a business setup like me it would totally screw up my ordering system as each order would have to be manually placed. I couldn't use my automated order system that I have where people can order 24/7.

I gotta say that would not work well for me either. But I also never take payments as "gifts". It's on the merchant to absorb the paypal fee anyway...

Ditto Bill. I think a rating system that's been discussed before would be a better direction. Leave the $ to PayPal.
