Seafoam about 1x a month in my daily, every fillup in the classic cars unless it is spring or summer and the wife and I are hot rodding a lot. Too many times I have had to drop the tank and clean out the entire fuel systems of the old cars because of old fuel turning to varnish. Not fun.

Seafoam at various intervals and fuel enzymes for the cars that sit all winter and ethanol free fuel. That is what I do.

I use Top Tier gas with its extra detergents like the owner's manual recommends. I am leery of adding something some random business is selling.

Chevron, who makes Techron is not some "random business". They have been around for 144 years. And the Techron in the bottles is the same as what they put in their gasoline. Supplementing gas with a bottle of Techron may not be as necessary as it used to be, but it is not some fly by night snake oil product.

    This is what I do.

Something to note; I track EVERY tank fuel economy since the day I drove off the lot and I do notice a mileage increase when I use it.

On a side note, for some stupid reason, I have had an itch to try Marvel Mystey Oil for gits and shigs. Don't know why. If anything is a magical snake oil which by some quasi-scientific measures actually works its MMO.

Go to toptiergas.com, click on find a station and then on gasoline.

Chevron is one of many Top Tier accepted brands. Not all brands of gasoline are.

    Care to elaborate if possible?

Back when I owned a 93 Dodge 12 valve, across my years of ownership I tried just about every over the counter fuel additive to see what results would yield.
I tried seafoam in the fuel one time and the only difference I noticed was the injector rattle became LOUD. An uneasy clatter that I didn't like the sound of. Never again. since then im weary of seafoam for any use.

Ha ha!!! Regular oil, filter and other fluid changes are the most important things to do. I do use Chevron Techron 87 gas as much as possible.

Seafoam 1x per year but it sounds just as quiet after I wash it.

MMO will silence dirty/tapping hydraulic lifters in short order. One pint will do it. Not so much of an issue now with oils being so much better now but it used to be fairly common issue at startup esp in cars belonging to owners in the "10,000 mile oil-change club."

Techron is just a detergent package to help clean your engine. I'll run a bottle through every 5000 miles before I get an oil change. Sometimes I'll run Seafoam instead.
On road trips, I like to throw in Lucas because I'm going to be humming along at consistent highway speeds for long stretches.

But who knows if I'm actually getting anything for the money.

In the old carburetor days, I would run Berryman B-12 which is essentially MEK - Methy Ethyl Keytone to clean things up and MAN it did clean things up! But in the modern world with sensors and gaskets and hoses and seals and high pressure systems, I'm thinking B-12 is too harsh.

I use Lucas once a month or so, it seems to help with MPG during the winter. Nothing crazy, maybe 1MPG difference. I figured it can’t hurt, worst case scenario I’m out $7

I wouldn't run I'm the oil. Was referring to MMO as a fuel additive.
