I live in Colorado Springs. I'm considering swapping out my tank for a fuel cell. Other than the technical part of getting it running, is there any reason not to? We don't have smog here.

    What vehicle?

if you have a newer Toyota with the leak detection evap system you will get check engine light unless you retain the system. It wouldn’t be that hard to replumb with a fuel cell and you should retain a charcoal canister anyway.

might not matter if you don’t have smog but much of Colorado does and you can’t pass with a check engine light, it’s also annoying to constantly have the check engine light on.
