How much fuel per hour does the 4.0L consume while sitting at idle with the AC on?

0.33-0.35 gal/hr no AC, 0.40-0.43 gal/hr with AC, if you can trust a calibrated ultragauge

four cylinder is 0.25-0.27 gal/hr no AC, up around 0.32-0.35 gal/hr with it

    ish

That's hot though, when cold I've seen the 4.0L drink at 1.7 gal/hr

From my obd sitting idle in d without the ac is right at 24cc / min. In park 28. D with ac is 38.

Thanks everyone! I sat idling under a shady tree today for about 1.5 hours. The fuel gauge didn't seem to move much, so I didn't think it used too much.

I have been in line at the border for 2 hours coming back from Baja and still got over 19 mpg on that tank. Gotta love that ethanol free Mexican gas!
