Mines done that since new pretty much, i've just lived with it. Dealer did order me a new unpainted gas door but I never got around to having them paint/install it. Still got it in the box.

Did any of the hinges break off? I'm honestly thinking of just duct taping the one that broke. Still don't understand why it's cocked. Not just hard to open and close, but didn't sit right when closed.

When mine broke off, I bought a new one from Toyota for about $40. Then I took my old door and my new door to a really good body shop that owes me favors, and had them paint the new one to match.

This thread helped me solve the same problem on my 2013. I bought the plastic tools off Amazon, but found that they weren't rigid enough to handle the prying that was needed. They just bent under any type of prying pressure. I used a small metal pry bar with some paper towel as protection and it didn't damage the paint. In the pics you can see the reveal on the fuel door is slightly tighter at the top left than the bottom left. I put the bar in as shown, and rotated clockwise (pushed down on the handle). I had to gently pry it for a little while until it got to where I wanted it. I then greased the hell out of the hinge and will spray some lithium grease on it at every fill-up.
