Fuel Economy on Brand New Truck

I’m looking forward to the “new truck getting 147 miles on one charge” threads when the e Tacoma comes out. In fifteen years.

 

Even if you're not engaging the 4wd you're still turning two extra axles and the front diff.

 

I'm using the truck's computer for both vehicles. Doing mostly combo (city plus highway) driving. I'm hoping the mpg improves a little once the truck is broken in but I guess I'll have to see. I don't recall what the 2018 was for fuel efficiency when I first got it...only what it ended up at.

 

I use the Fuelly app on my iPhone. Really easy to use. Each fill up you plug in the odometer, price per gallon, and gallons you put in the tank.
